The overall experience at Pausa Caffe is tremendous. The family environment that has been created by the owners/staff is well received amongst the community at large. Not to mention the product that is being served, which is second to none.

Pausa Caffè is a delightful taste of Italy nestled in Norwalk. Owned by a charming Italian family from Napoli, this cafe embodies the essence of authentic Italian cuisine and hospitality. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to Italy with every sip and bite. The coffee at Pausa Caffè is unparalleled, undoubtedly the best I've had outside of Italy. Each cup is meticulously crafted. Their gelato is a must-try, creamy and indulgent, just like what you'd find on the streets of Napoli. The pastries are delicious, leaving you craving more. And when it comes to their food, Pausa Caffè exceeds expectations. Whether it's an arancini or a savory panini, each plate is prepared with love. What's more remarkable is the warm welcome you receive from the owners themselves. Their passion for sharing Italian culture through coffee and food is evident in every detail, making every visit feel like a mini-vacation to Italy. My husband and I gladly make the hour-long drive to Pausa Caffè regularly, knowing that we'll be treated not just to exceptional food, but to a genuine Italian experience that's hard to find elsewhere. If you haven't visited yet, do yourself a favor and indulge in a taste of Italy right here in Norwalk at Pausa Caffè.

If you want a nice treat, this is the right spot! Best quality coffee, tasty food, delicious sweets, and amazing authentic Italian things to buy, too! The staff are really friendly. Been here twice, and really looking forward to visit again.

They have the BEST croissants I have ever eaten. I ate one three hours ago and I'm still floating in pastry heaven. We had cappuccinos which were excellent too. The staff were very sweet and warm. I'm definitely coming back with my friend who is of Italian descent. She would go nuts seeing all the goodies, sweets, spreads, sauces and pastas.

Best place in Norwalk for Authentic italian food ! Absolutely the cleanist public place I have been to in Norwalk. The service is the best. So happy to have it here in Norwalk. Ask for their freshly filled cannoli' s their panini's and the gelato... You wont regret! Things keep getting even BETTER if possible!! They added a special bread to there already extraordinary panini a sort of focaccina from @fatto a mano breads. And their Pinsa?!( To not be confused with pizza) To die for! Its a must go! The coffe in the pic.. Il VESUVIO! Im sorry I didn't make it on time to picture the Panini Pausa...It was gone too fast! Highly suggested .. def best panini on town!

Connecticut is home to a number of authentic Italian markets but there are few truly authentic Italian caffè — but all you need is one great one and that is Pausa Caffè in Norwalk. The cornetto (especially the pistacchio) and caffè are as good as those I’ve had in Italy. The service is friendly, helpful, and creates a family like atmosphere. If I lived close by I’d be here every day, but for now I have to settle for infrequent but always worthwhile visits on the way to the office. Please stop by and give it a try if you want a true Italian cafe experience. Che bontà!

Pausa Caffè – Where Espresso Meets Elegance! If you’re searching for a true Italian coffee experience without hopping on a flight to Rome, Pausa Caffè delivers the next best thing. Nestled in Norwalk, Connecticut this charming café blends tradition, quality, and comfort in one aromatic package. Pausa Caffè feels like an Italian daydream—warm lighting, earthy tones, and a clean, modern-rustic interior with just the right touch of vintage flair. Italian chatter softly hums in the background, and there’s always that comforting clink of porcelain cups being set down just right. The espresso here is the real deal—pulled short and strong, with a velvety crema that lingers. Their high quality imported espresso beans grounded fresh for each shot . I tried the caffè, the Nutella latte, cappuccino and espresso, both crafted with precision, no bitterness, and that rich, smooth finish that only comes from the greatest barista’s around. Their cornetto al pistacchio is worth writing home about—flaky, buttery, and generously filled. The kinder cheesecake Rocher dessert and cinque sensi It’s clear they take their authentic Italian desserts as seriously as their coffee. Attentive, welcoming, and always ready with a recommendation. The baristas here know their craft and treat each cup like an art form. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso at the bar or lingering with a cappuccino, they make you feel right at home. Highly recommend Nutella latte. Whether you’re in for a quick “pausa” or settling in with a book, the atmosphere suits both. Locals drop in like clockwork, and there’s a gentle rhythm to the place that’s comforting and unrushed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A standout spot that brings la dolce vita to the daily grind. Pausa Caffè isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a ritual.

So very cute and GOLDEN inside! Fancy but not in a way that you need to dress up, more like an aesthetic kind of cuteness! Food was so flavorful and drinks were herbal like teas and lattes!
